1) Trump enemy Alexander Vindeman outs himself as a vicious hack. John Daniel Davidson writes:
Alexander Vindman, the retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel who helped plot the botched impeachment of former President Donald Trump in what amounted to a failed coup attempt, thinks Tucker Carlson should be “censured” for saying things Vindman doesn’t like about the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.
In a tweet Thursday responding to a trailer Carlson posted for his new documentary, “Patriot Purge,” Vindman asked, idiotically, “How is this different than yelling fire in a crowded theater? Carlson is attempting to incite a riotous mob. He should be censured. I’d like to hear the arguments for/against this being protected speech.”
Well since you asked, the argument for Carlson’s documentary being protected speech is right there in the Bill of Rights, on the first page, where it says Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech or of the press. That includes reporting and commentary that some people, even disgraced former Army officers who try to remove duly elected presidents, disagree with.
2) Nancy Pelosi is fighting the progressives in Congress for a bill nobody even understands.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi delayed a vote on the infrastructure bill on Thursday night after the most radical lawmakers in her party threw yet another round of fits about the legislation’s contents and the related $1.75 trillion spending bill that acts as a free pass for key elements of the leftist agenda.
Despite never promising to deliver on every talking point lodged in each of the legislative packages, President Joe Biden, Pelosi, Sen. Bernie Sanders, and the progressive “squad” have devoted weeks to bickering over these key bills. Their attempts to pass just one piece of legislation that the administration and vulnerable Democrat members could use to boost the public’s image of them ahead of the 2022 midterms, however, has failed up to this point.
3) Joe Biden wants to “help” women by freeing rapists and pedophiles. Daniel Greenfield writes:
Earlier this year, Frankie Harris, 38, a vicious criminal attacked a 64-year-old woman in Harlem from behind, strangled her for three minutes, and then pulled her to the ground and raped her.
Then he left her in a pool of her own blood. When the police caught him, he claimed it was “consensual”.
His victim died after spending a week in a coma.
The monster who attacked her (pictured above) had been set loose twice after previous attacks that same year, including forcible touching and sex abuse, and was sent into supervised release programs, instead of being safely locked up because New York Democrats had eliminated “cash bail”.
Now Joe Biden, who has been accused of sexual assault by a former aide, claims that he wants to “help” women by ending cash bail and setting countless rapists loose to prey on women.
Biden had run on a plan to free criminals by ending bail, vowing that he would “lead a national effort to end cash bail” and now as crime is hitting new highs, he’s preparing to advance his pro-crime program under the guise of protecting women by empowering their abusers.
Biden and Kamala Harris, who had been accused of covering up sexual harassment by her close aide and personal friend, announced the creation of a White House Gender Policy Council earlier this year.
