Kamala Harris’s chief of staff resigns, latest Harris staffer to jump ship

Vice President Kamala Harris’s tortured time as President Biden’s second in command is only getting worse with the announcement that her chief of staff, Tina Flournoy, is bailing out and will be leaving the White House.

Vice President Harris issued a statement saying, “Tina has been a valued advisor and confidant to me and tremendous leader for the office. From day 1, she led our team during a historic first year as we made progress rebuilding our economy here at home and our alliances around the world.”

Flournoy is the latest high-profile member of the Vice President’s staff to jump ship for greener pastures.

Flournoy’s departure is definitely the most significant yet, as President Joe Biden’s chief of staff, Ron Klain, described Flournoy as the individual that made the President and Vice President’s relationship “effective.”

Seeing as how the President and Vice President hardly work together as it is, one shudders to think what the working relationship will look like without Flournoy.

Klain said, “Tina has been a critical member of the White House team since day one, working with the President and Vice President to make their partnership effective and help the administration deliver on critical priorities. Her experience, wisdom, and hard work have been instrumental to our success on many issues.”

A source in the White House revealed that Flournoy’s replacement is already in the building in the form of Lorraine Voles, a senior adviser to Kamala Harris.

This latest resignation is further proof that not all is well in Vice President Harris’s office. She has been hemorrhaging staff since day one amid allegations of a toxic workplace environment.
