Judge Pirro sounds off on BLM leader alleging tax laws were ‘weaponized’ against group

Judge Jeanine Pirro, co-host of “The Five,” appeared on “America’s Newsroom” on Friday to examine Black Lives Matter’s potential tax and financial difficulties.

After the organization’s $6 million Los Angeles mansion purchase was revealed, BLM’s co-founder attacked the United States’ “triggering” charity disclosure requirements.

JEANINE PIRRO:

Everyone in the audience is aware that it is April and that they must file a tax return. Yes, we’re all triggered, but we all follow the rules. And for them to claim that the law is being ‘weaponized’ against them when they did everything they could to circumstantially prove the IRS’s case, both civil and criminal, as the watchdog organization claims, shows that they were aware of the law. They’re now accusing you of using it against us. Yes, laws are enacted by the government for a cause.
