Fox News star, former Trump official announces major life change on air

Kayleigh McEnany, the former Trump administration press secretary turned Fox News pundit, announced her pregnancy on-air during a segment this week on the network’s “Outnumbered,” where she serves as a co-host.

“So my husband, Sean Gilmartin and I, are four months pregnant!” she told the panel, to applause.

She also shared how she broke the news to her husband, New York Mets pitcher Gilmartin, who she married in 2017.

“Before we were on the couch and someone said ‘the five of us,’ but I said ‘no, the six of us’!” she said, grabbing her stomach.

She added that, while she plans a gender reveal in the “coming weeks,” she already knows the sex of the baby.

McEnany already has a daughter named Blake.

“What a blessing,” she said.

“We prayed a lot about this and God just blessed us with a second child to join baby Blake, my daughter.”

The glowing mother-to-be also praised Fox News for its support of working mothers.

McEnany, a graduate of Georgetown and Harvard Law, was the final press secretary for former President Donald Trump.

While initially critical of Trump during the 2016 primaries, McEnany became one of the administration’s most vocal supporters.

After being appointed national spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee in 2017, she was the national press secretary for the Trump campaign in 2019 and 2020 before moving into the White House press room.

She was also a senior adviser on the 2020 campaign.

McEnany started off in media as a contributor on Fox News’ “Huckabee” before doing a stint as a commentator at CNN.
