“The Las Vegas Raiders are saddened by the passing of Bill Laskey, who proudly wore the Silver and Black from 1966-70. Our thoughts are with his wife Dona, sons Lance and Beau, daughter Margaux, friends, and teammates,” the Raiders posted on social media.
The Raiders announced on Friday that former NFL linebacker Bill Laskey has died at the age of 79.

Before joining the Bills in 1965, Laskey played at the University of Michigan. As a rookie, he was named to the all-star team.
The following season, he joined the Raiders and spent five years with them.
Laskey ended his career with the Baltimore Colts (1971-72) and the Denver Broncos (1973-74).

In his professional career, he appeared in 119 games, making 61 starts.
